How would I feel if my website took off and I became an Influencer? I wonder. Currently all the dates are in the wrong order and I can’t stop the first ever typing being the heading for all of the entries its all a bit haphazard isn’t it? Oh dear.
The last couple of months has been hectic with all of the travelling for work. More of that to come. In August I can rest.
At the end of May I will go to the South of France and relax with my bestie Nancy from Vancouver. She’s not FROM Vancouver she’s from Yorkshire and still has that lovely Yorkshire accent. But she now lives in Vancouver and will travel afar to meet me in Nice for our holiday next month. She is my spiritual guru.
The Ibiza holiday with my son seems like a distant memory just now even though it was earlier this month. It was lovely to get away just for 3 nights and then straight away off I went again for work. The weather was lovely and I did a bit of walking. I remember walking a long way on my own one day – the last day? – and knowing that I had to achieve some kind of exercise at least to try to contain this ever expanding tummy of mine. I know its a menopausal worry for lots of women, but it feels like you can’t eat anything or enjoy eating anything like we used to because you’re aware that you must work three times as hard to get that worked off again. I don’t think I’ll ever be toned again, and I spent so many years being a skinny minny.
The biggest deal of the month is the arrival of our new kitten 🙂 he is the cutest little button and makes us all laugh and smile so much. We are all full of scratches and bites on our hands because he loves to play with our fingers and he’s always trying to practice with his claws – they don’t REALLY hurt but I’m sure in time they will so at some point we will have to tell him off for this “playing”. He is gorgeous and his maternal family called him Chunk – we have Ronni cat already so there was a lot of talk about us calling him Reggie but we decided that actually he really suits his original name so we’ve decided to keep it. Reggie would have been too obvious and prescribed. He’s Chunk. My little Chunky Munky. All of us adore him – not so much Ronni but she will come around.
I had a date!!! It was nice. His name’s Gavin. I really like him. But of course we are now playing the cat and mouse game of messages here and there. I watched the First Dates program in the week when Fred said that when a cat is playing with a mouse for a while but then gets bored and walks away – lucky mouse! So here I am trying to figure out which one is the mouse? I will get bored if he doesn’t ramp it up soon. And then he’ll be in the friend zone. Or at worse blocked. Watch this space.
