So random to have 2 girlie events in one weekend. Was such fun. It’s nice to have people in your life that you can go out with isn’t it? Otherwise we would all stay home and be glued to Celebrity Big Brother all the time.

I was quite happily staying in my jarmies until an old colleague got in touch via IG DM to ask what I was up to Saturday night. Really nice touch. It could have gone unread until the Sunday but didn’t. I replied and off we went to Herne Bay and I was sooooo good I had 2 cocktails and drove home. One each in 2 different bars.

This meant that I was fresh as a daisy for the planned 2nd event of the weekend with lovely Jill for her early birthday breakfast. When I watched Sunday Brunch and Simon Rimmer said that his favourite night out was LUNCH – it made me think of this.

Next weekend I have what I had thought was a dinner planned with ex colleagues but now they have decided to downplay it to a coffee….. too close to payday. It will be lunchtime – I may or may not have a coffee…..but it will be a nice early night nonetheless.

Working from home is going well – so far so good. But also I have MORE freelance work to keep me busy so I might not even have time to catch up with Celebrity Big Brother. Who will win? Louie? Fern? Zeze? David?
