Celebrity Big Brother has started this evening and I am travelling and although I didn’t foresee myself watching it from my hotel bedroom, here I am doing just that. This will keep me well behaved and in bed at a decent hour for the rest of the month. Or at least this week!

The journey was great and not at all arduous. I had a scary mary little 10 minutes at Victoria station with my connector but it was all A-OK and my partner in crime was literally outside the station waiting for me on arrival so we sought our destination together.

It has been a really tiring day and the weekend was also really tiring so I am happy for an early night. The others who are away here are all hanging out in a nearby restaurant space which sounded really enjoyable but I did not join. As an older person it is fine to get away with not joining all the young ones because as we all know, the right thing to do for a healthy life is an early night and not too much alcohol.

I think I’m in love with one of the 18 new people I’ve met today – I wonder if the feeling is mutual? It seemed so in one of the breaks. But of course there is not a chance in hell that he will break through my friend zone barrier.
